Start from the decisions to be made
We examine the questions you need to address every week: workload, lead times, service quality, cash or margins. With the people concerned, we identify the available data and the gaps that call for a decision.
Prepare the weekly business review
The weekly business review, also known as the Weekly Business Review or WBR, follows a stable order: previous actions, results, gaps, decisions and new commitments. Each indicator has a definition, a source, an owner and an update frequency. Topics that require detailed analysis are entrusted to an identified working group.
What we put in place
- A selection of indicators and their calculation rules.
- A review document adapted to the participants.
- A register of decisions and actions, with owner and due date.
- Preparation and co-facilitation of the first sessions.
- A procedure allowing your teams to continue the review.
An example of use
A services company wants to monitor overdue cases. The review compares the number of open cases, their age and the available capacity. Managers can then reassign a task, clarify a client expectation or revise a deadline, and follow the effect of that decision the following week.
This example illustrates one possible use; it is not a client reference.
